De Anna’s heartbreak was evident on the follow-up, “After the Final Rose” show.
Recognizing her popularity, ABC Television tapped De Anna to star in The Bachelorette, this time, she would be in control of her dating destiny.
The blonde beauty of course said yes to 28-year-old Ben Higgins, and has been rocking her 4.6 carat Neil Lane engagement ring ever since.
And yet, the franchise has produced several ultra-gorgeous weddings and many more happily dating or engaged couples.
The official weddings are well known and often televised: Trista and Ryan Sutter, Jason and Molly Mesnick, Sean and Catherine Lowe, and so on.
But Ali came back in 2010 as the sixth Bachelorette to try to find love again.
She got engaged to the hunky Roberto Martinez at the end of the season, only to break off their engagement a year later in 2011. They were married in March 2010 on a two-hour special and now have daughter Riley Anne and son Ty, Jason's child from a previous relationship.
We'll be rooting for her, but it's no secret that not all of the relationships formed on the show have lasted.
"The Bachelor" has been running for 15 years, and "The Bachelorette" for 14 years, and while there have been some happy endings, there have also been plenty of breakups.

The 2004 season of The Bachelorette again took the runner-up from the previous season of The Bachelor.
